In the Thematic Codes tab, you have the ability to add Thematic Codes/Keywords. These Thematic Codes are used to aid event organizers in the reviewing and session creation stages. In the reviewer invitation stage, reviewers are asked to select Thematic Codes which line up with their areas of expertise.
In the submission stage, submitters are asked to select Thematic Codes that best fit their submission (abstract, full paper etc.).
In the Reviewer Assignment and Session Creation stages, the Thematic Codes are used to simplify both of these processes for the event organizer.
Go to the Thematic Codes tab. Click the "Add new" button in order to create a first master category of Thematic Codes. Give this category a name, and press "Save Changes."
Each master category can have an unlimited number of groups and subgroups. Use the "Add Code" button in order to create a group/subgroup.
Once you have finished adding your Thematic Codes, use the checkboxes to designate certain codes as groups. Groups are NOT SELECTABLE during the paper submission stage, or the reviewer invitation stage. Consider them as headers that designate a grouping of a certain type of code.
You do not have to designate any codes as groups, this is optional.
Use the dots on the left to swap the order of codes.
Use the "x" on the right to delete codes.
Once you are done with a category of Thematic Codes, use the "Add new" button to add a new category. You can add as many categories are you want.
Don't forget to press "Save Changes"!!
